MAAHOE

Enabling and Empowering Rangatahi

Maahoe is a softwood, often one of the first to regenerate in cleared or damaged areas. It grows quickly, representing renewal, resilience, and the promise of the future. Our rangatahi generation are like maahoe,  – They bring fresh energy, adaptability, and the ability to grow and thrive even in challenging conditions. Rangatahi represent the potential to shape and regenerate communities, much like how maahoe rejuvenates the land.

Ira Koopuu works support rangatahi to lead and regenerate their communities. By fostering resilience, leadership, and growth, Ira Koopuu empowers rangatahi to thrive, adapt, and create change, ensuring that like maahoe, they bring renewal and vitality to the whenua and the future.
